* Title of the problem or suggestion: Standard Game Time
* Type of Suggestion : Suggestion for the Game
* Location : Home page / Control Room (some place easily visable)

Summary :
With everyone being from other parts of the world (different timezones). I think it would benefit us all (especially the game admins) if we had a standard game clock instead of using our own specific time.

Give positive values for the game and players :

* Reason 1: The main benefit would be to the game admins. Who can use a standard time to quickly and easily fix problems that occur in game e.g. The last bug that happened. They would easily be able to look at things like battle reports and other things in game and find out exactly when the bug occurred thus making it easier to fix.

* Reason 2: Players would have a standard time in which they can use to set up attacks/defenses

* Other reasons there can potentially be a wide array of pluses that such a clock can give I invite others to add or knock down ideas as I am too lazy to write down all the pluses that can be included in this post.

Give possible negative values for the game and players :

There really are no negatives that I can foresee in using a standard in game clock.

Many games have a counter of how many hours have elapsed since the round start which is used as a common timer. I like the idea.

oops! Just found this suggestion.

The reason we allow time zones is for the simple reason that it becomes easier to anticipate fleet return...if you know what time your fleet lands back on your planet, you could easely get confused if their was a common clock.
