* Player Profile Pages
* Type of Suggestion : Interface
* Location : New Page

Description :

* Create a link on every players name in the statistics list and interstellar sensor that leads to a profile page
* Each player's profile page can have a list of their planets, their avatar, their alliance, their score, and a personal description.
* If for the reasons below the choice may be to omit their planet's icons and coordinates, but maybe include the number of planets the player has.

Summary :

Give positive values for the game and players :

* Allows for more individuality for players
* Allows users to easily locate player's planets quickly

Give possible negative values for the game and players :

* Finding a target or enemy more easily may not be what this game has in mind

It's a good idea !

Actually, I agree with :
- The player's profile (I mean his own description)
- The alliance Tag, the avatar, the score.

But, i don't think that revealing all the planets which belong to this player would be brilliant.
As you said, it's not the thing that some are seeking for in the Game. If you want to succeed, to reach the top 10, you have to work for it. And this work includes searching in every galaxy, every solar system, the player's planet. Here's what I think, tough.

So, according to I, the first idea is great. But the second... We've to discuss on it ;)

While I agree the top players should have to work for their spot I do not believe they should be forced to preform tedious tasks in order to do well. Skill should come from ability to make good decisions in this game. Not the ability to be at a computer and click around more.

hi there.

I also beleive that this is a good idea, but as Orion said, and as you said yourself, players should try and find their enemy coordinates, which would also be realistic, but it would be alright to say how many planets the player would actually have, that wouldn't be a problem.

So according to what you said, I would approve.

I fully agree with you that a profile page would be highly beneficial. You do not want to place too many tedious task on to the player. Finding someone to attack as of now is by far the hardest thing to do in this game but not because the person lacks knowledge but it is just a hassle going to this page to check one thing then hoping to another to check something else then repeat a few other times before you finally decide whether or not someone is worth attacking.

I believe if the Statistics page contained all players with a clickable link to a profile that contains all the information already freely given the game would appeal to a larger audience.
