The New Pacific Order - A Presentation

“CRUMP!”

Yet another shower of dust fell from the ceiling of the vast underground bunker, twinkling through the shadows like magic powder as it passed through the flickering light generated by the banks of equipment that lined the walls.

“I make that, what, nuke number five?” asked the scientist.

“Six” his companion replied. “Be grateful you’re tucked away underground comrade.” He brushed the dust off his tattered epaulettes while casually kicking the ground with a scuffed jackboot.

“I’d rather be up there comrade,” said the scientist, gazing enviously at his superior’s blood-spattered uniform. “The barbarians are at the gate and I want to be there fighting them off.”

“No – your work here is much more important: breaking down the barriers between realities is not a matter to be taken lightly – in fact I believe the Emperor himself has taken a personal interest in this project.”

The scientist tried his best not to look nervous. “T-that’s good to know,” he stammered. “You’ll be glad to hear that initial results are encouraging. Our pioneers have already established themselves and while some of the natives are somewhat hostile, we have a secure foothold on a number of planets.”

“Planets? More than one?”

“Hundreds – this reality is very different from our Cyber Nations home, as that was from Nation States.”

“So the Pacifican revolution has taken to the stars?”

“Indeed it has comrade – the next test subject is about to cross over and the good people of Origins Return have already been informed that the New Pacific Order has arrived.”

A Brief History of the New Pacific Order

The New Pacific Order first came into being in the game Nation States in 2005 when our great founder Francos Spain declared revolution against the overlords of that realm and became leader of an alliance known as The People’s Republic of the Pacific.

Soon the New Pacific Order was proclaimed and a senate established, while the forces of the Pacific solidified its position in the world. From the capital city of Francograd, the founding tenets of the NPO was formulated, and thus was born Francoism – a philosophy of revolutionary pragmatism and realism. Soon players flocked to this alliance, drawn by the great opportunities opened up by the meritocracy that the NPO embraced.

Pacifica went from strength to strength and marched from victory to victory, but over the next few years it soon became apparent that the world of Nation States was just too small for the NPO. Thus began the great migration to Cyber Nations.

The NPO arrived in Cyber Nations in 2006, and under a succession of emperors built up a truly remarkable military and governmental machine. The NPO quickly transformed from upstart newcomers to a major power bloc – dominating the world of Cyber Nations like no other.

The NPO enjoyed a long and illustrious reign over this realm, but in the dark corners, forces were gathering – jealous of the Pacific Order’s success. Through misinformation, propaganda and deceit these forces poisoned the once-happy relations the NPO enjoyed with her allies, turning them away from Pacifica. Soon the NPO was vastly outnumbered by a coalition driven only by hate and jealousy. Under the banner of morality these forces gradually wore the NPO down through sheer weight of numbers until she was forced to surrender.

The NPO lay humbled – forced to pay crippling reparations that were designed to thwart any future rise to power. Yet rise she did! By 2010 the NPO regained her rightful place as one of the greatest alliances in Cyber Nations. Through hard work, dedication and comradeship the NPO grew once again, facing down those barbarians that sought o destroy them again and again.

And yet the people of Pacifica became restless. Tired of the constant tirades against their noble alliance, they began to look for further adventures. Then in late 2010 one brave comrade discovered not only one world, but an entire universe to explore! This noble pioneer returned to Francograd bearing incredible tales of cosmic wonder and soon others began to follow in his footsteps.

The New Pacific Order took to the stars and found Origins Return.

His breath quickened as he ascended the steps to the stargate. His Cyber Nation was small but comfortable (at least until the barbarian hordes had launched their attacks). Under the aegis of the NPO he had build up a trade circle, sold technology and ploughed any profit into improving his modest fiefdom. As a loyal member of the Order he had started the long climb up the alliance’s career ladder, but most of all he had made friends – good friends.

And now he was taking the ultimate step for the New Pacific Order – exchanging this comfortable life for a completely different plane of existence.

“Gateway operational in 10… 9… 8…”

The computerised countdown continued as the arc before him crackled into life.

“7… 6… 5…”

Blinded by the oscillating light, his thoughts went from that modest little land he’d called home to the new life of uncertainty and adventure beyond the gate.

“4… 3… 2… 1.”

Charter of the New Pacific Order

Introduction
We, the nations of the New Pacific Order, agree to promote national sovereignty, defend our fellow nations against outside aggression and advance the Pacifican way of life to the world.

Article I: Admission
Any nation wishing to join the New Pacific Order that has requested membership will be admitted, provided said nation does not belong to any other alliances and is approved.

Article II: Structure of the Order
The Emperor
The Emperor is the Sovereign of the alliance. As such, the Emperor has the sole power over the affairs of the alliance, although such powers can be delegated to others. The Emperor serves for life or until resignation. Every Emperor is appointed by their predecessor and ascends to the throne upon the termination of the latter's reign. In the absence of the Emperor, the Regent shall execute the duties of the Emperor.

Government
The Emperor can create any office and appoint any member to that office at his or her sole discretion. The Emperor can delegate power to said office to the extent that the Emperor deems appropriate. Such offices may, at the Emperor's discretion, create subordinate positions, delegate power to said positions and appoint members to them. The Emperor is the final authority on all matters and as such, any office, position or policy within the alliance may be altered or removed at the Emperor's will.

The Body Republic
All member nations of the New Pacific Order will automatically have a seat in the Body Republic.

Article III: Expulsion from the Order
Any nation member can submit a motion to expel a fellow member from the Order to the Body Republic floor. In order for the motion to carry, a supermajority (defined herein as 75% + 1) of the voting nations must vote in favor of the expulsion. There will be a time limit of 36 hours on expulsion votes and the expulsion will be carried as long as the nations who vote equal at least 10% +1 of the Body Republic. The Emperor can not be expelled from the Order. The Emperor can pardon any nation from expulsion. The Emperor can also expel members on his own initiative, without a vote.

Article IV: Amendments to the Charter
Any nation can submit a motion to amend the Charter to the Body Republic floor. Discussion will take place for a period of no less than 8 hours but no more than 36 hours. If a supermajority (defined herein as 75% + 1) of the voting nations voice support for the amendment before the 36 hour time limit is reached then the motion will be considered passed and carried as long as the nations who vote equal at least 10% +1 of the Body Republic. Each change to the charter mentioned in an Article IV amendment motion requires a separate vote for each change within the Article IV amendment thread for each change to be considered passed and carried.

The air inside the control tower pulsed as the latest Pacifican to reach Origins Return came into existence.

As his vision cleared, the first thing that drew his attention was the vast alien landscape that stretched out before him – illuminated by the weird glow of an extra-terrestrial sun. Forcing himself to concentrate, his gaze turned to the bewildering array of controls before him. He pressed a button tentatively, then smiled at the resultant rumble as, somewhere far below, construction began on his new planet’s first iron mine.

“Inform Imperial Command of my arrival and request a status report,” he barked.

Within seconds the well-oiled Pacifican machine sprang into life, flooding his display screen with messages:

“Aid delivery en-route to…”

“Raid progressing on…”

“Attack successfully repelled at…”

“Voting for new Imperial Officers now open…”

While he sat back in his chair, pondering the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead, a final message blinked up on his screen:

“Welcome to the New Pacific Order – Welcome to Origins Return.”

Origins-Return Aston Union

Story

A millenium ago, several populations were born.
Amongst them,were the eklevias. Gradually, they developed, from discovery to discovery. They created machines. Found oil. Then the first rockets were sent in what they called the big black sky. It was first an animal, then the first man to reach heaven. Eager to discover more and more, they launched more rockets. Their technology evolved, their rockets became shuttles and ships. First equiped with weak drives, these vessels were able to cross the solar system and entire galaxies.
Unfortunately, the eklevias with the thirst for discovery of space, had gradually exhausted the resources of their planet. No one knows if it was coincidence or not, but a gigantic asteroid then exploded on Earth.




Fortunately, some were able to escape. They got together, and then took the most powerful vessel they had, and left their world behind, which was dying by the hour.
Once in the sky, they lit the drives and the vessel departed. For several days, they headed into the areas they had already explored, but however, could not find a new location to restart their lives.
They then had to search in areas they did not know. The days turned into months. The months into years. Their ship were attacked many times by other aggressive civilizations. During an attack, their ship suffered serious damage. To escape their attackers, they were then swallowed into a black hole, and the ship and it's inhabitants were lost. For decades, they wandered, lost in the dark.
And when they thought that it was all over, a miracle happened.






Before them, a light appeared. They could see before them a human figure. No one knew how, but the ship without anyone's command, went towards the bright halo. The silhouette then began to move very quickly. The ship followed. Time did seem to have any effect on the ship, and ever more quickly, it followed the light. After several days, a violent shock awoke the inhabitants. They then ran to the windows to see that their ship had landed in a vast green plain.
They came off the ship, and the being of light went directly towards them : "I'm Aston. I found your ship in distress. While you were sleeping, I could read your mind. You were lost. Your family, your land and your ship was attacked.
I welcome you on this planet, and would like to help you to start over. To learn from your mistakes, protect yourself from your enemies. "...after these breif words, he disapearred.
In homage to their savior, the eklevias then called themselves Astonians and dedicated worship to their god forever.
Since then, the whole civilization had regained its former power. Although they were peaceful, they never forgot those who attacked them, and tracked them without mercy..

We are delos, and this is our story :

Everything started in another universe so similar and yet so different. Members face the oppression of enemies joined forces against the established order.
These people were young and not strong enough to fight alone. But their strength lies in their numbers. After a few military victories they decided to form a league. They took the name of Delos. Due to a major military victory on a planet of the same name. She could not serve as the capital was destroyed during the battle. For this memory forever gone from this place, we construimes a city in space at the exact spot where the planet was.

And very soon the excitement in this alliance highs. Had a very clear hierarchy in place.
The Delos were not a democracy. Too unstable. Traditionally three paramount chiefs were appointed. With leaders for each group of alliance.

But ultimately nothing had changed. Certainly we had destroyed many of our enemies. But those who remained had become virtually invincible.
Then came an invention at home.

A planet, ten vessels, all lined clearly ready to fight. Suddenly a hyperspace window opened to let one then two then three vessels.
- where are they, asked himself the captain of the cruiser.
Before he is able to reflect a bright light appeared and a dozen gigantic warships appeared.



Without any warning, he fired at enemy ships. 4, already destroyed. The cruiser fired in turn. And in less than 5 minutes there was only rubble.
The transmission window opened again. We always saw the four commanders in their poker fun.

Unfortunately this technology has its limits. We could not carry any vessel or other technology in the universe.
It was decided to try our luck. Volunteers were sent across the portal. The reports were excellent. The experience helped us in our universe to become one of the most powerful nations. Furthermore new people rallied to delos, greatly increasing the members of our nation.
The reports of our spies had taught us a new universe was born. His name: aerilon.
Dalek empire, a leader of delos decided he would try his luck in this world. He asked all of Delos and its ally come. But the peculiarity of this universe slowed much. The language was different.

3 nations finally decided to pass the gate. It was the three nations leader in the league.
The objective was simple daleks delos make the greatest military empire of the universe. Why he was chosen as the faction delos in this universe chooses to accept members whose goal was similar.
So in this universe known as "league" had no place to be this faction eventually took the name of liberal empire.
And war against enemies again brave. They were not as powerful as our enemies Ida. For the simple reason that they had started at the same point as us. But they were still good fighters.
But we all have a goal.

And we will win.



We are delos, we were, are and will be fleet of destroyers.

Any resistance is futile.

Good evening everyone

Today I have the honor and pleasure to present the alliance "House Agamemnon"

Here are some ancient scrolls discovered recently from our first world, tracing our history:











Agamemnon's house has a long story behind it ... Let me tell you its story :

Thousands years ago, on our world was a sunbathed country, rocked by a rich sea and fertile
islands, where people fought to prevail their neighbours. Among the several kings who built
the story of this world, one of them achieved feats, destroyed a supposed-to-be impregnable
citadel and that's how he became in history one of the most famous kings of our Antiquity.

But the story didn't stop there. The family of the king thrived through centuries and its
influence spread in many items such as science, philosophy, history and economics.

From a family, it became a clan. Agamemnon's clan gathered the children of the royal family
but as binding his blood with the children of its best generals, scientists and influent families,
its influence spread on the whole earth.

Centuries gone, Agamemnon's clan took possession of the whole earth, pacified all people
and showed them the way to future. Following this great evolution, Agamemnon's clan
became aware that all the people part of the empire would be considered as one and only
person and undertook to change its clan in a house.

Agamemnon's house meant then ideal of life, a welcoming world, a strong empire of several
planets run by an elite of lord warriors, all tied up towards a same goal : to safeguard the
future on their house.
