In this topic i'm going to explain the best ways to start well, and then the various strategies that exist.
- Develop your mines
It is essential that to be able to have resources at your disposal, that you will need to develop your different mines.
Right at the beginning, once you first sign in, you will have already on your main planet, 800 units of Iron and 500 Units of Gold.
Study the prices of the 4 different mines. You will seem to notice that they all need a higher cost in Iron to reach their first level.
It would then be useful to start developping your Iron mine. But of course energy is needed so first click on the thermal power plant.
This enables you to then create the iron mine.
That finished, you have a choice. Either create a Gold mine or develop level 2 of the Iron mine. The best thing would be to develop the iron mine to then have a good enough Iron production to build the power plant.
To have a good start, it is best to have your Iron and Gold mines level 10, Crystal level 5 and Hydrogen level 5 before anything else.Of course this is just a strategy to be comfortable, others do exist.
- Become a Scientist
Developping and researching new technologies becomes essential to be able to expand your empire. Researching not only enables unblocking new structures and components for spaceships but also new defences and devices. Alot of players wait until they have unblocked alot of the components before building spaceships.
- Become a Spy
Developping your espionage technology is crucial because not only does it enable you to spy enemy planets but also to prevent your enemies from collecting useful information about yours. Being able to see your enemy fleet helps you develop a strategy. This technology needs alot of gold for it's development.
Here is what you see depending on your espionage level and your enemy's:
If you have 3 levels less than him/her or worse, you will see absolutely nothing.
If you have of 2 levels less thant him/her up to the same level of espionage as your opponent, you will only be able to see the resources of the player on which you spy.
If you have 1 level more than him/her, you will be able to see his/her resources + his/her fleet.
If you have 2 levels more than he, you will see his/her resources + fleet + defences.
If you have 3 levels rmore than he, you will see his/her resources + fleet + defences + buildings + servicemen.
And finally if you have 4 levels or + more than him/her, you will see his/her resources + his/her fleet + defences + buildings + servicemen + technologies.
- Build a looting fleet
One of the fastest things to do once you have reached level 10 + of the mines and unblocked the minimum of the necessary components to build a ship is to create and build a looting Spaceship. This will allow you to start looting players and add the resources to your daily production to build buildings or research technologies.
- Create a defence
The best way to counter-attack looting fleets are to build defences. However this is very efficient at the beginning but will not survive on it's own against a big fleet. It is best to research all the technologies needed to unblock the more powerful defences. This strategy is used by players who wish to protect their daily production.
- Create an army
Creating the biggest army of the Universe is everybody's dream. To do so it is important to colonize as soon as possible to develop your military camps. However alot of Iron and Gold are needed, so be sure to produce enough.
