Until there is a larger player base, there needs to be a way to convert resources into other resources, like an open market. Because for the past few days, I've been trying to get a trade offer going, but it just isn't working because nobody is out there on the other side looking for my resources. The conversion should probably have a tax on it, just to limit it a bit (transferring all your iron to hydrogen, where you have higher storage capacity, just so you can keep generating iron) so that it isn't abused. I think that until the game has enough people willing to trade, there definetly needs to be a market of sorts so that you arent sitting on 100k hydrogen and 5000 iron and cant build anything.

I'm not quite sure that it's a good idea at all. This would kill trade even more.

However, if you want to sell hydrogen, ask players who raid with spaceships, they generally need it.
